Resumo: This study executes an analysis of prospective and perspectives of the theological scientific production in Brazilian context starting from an evaluate look to the scientific journals in the field of theology and sciences of religion. Through a mapping of theological journals, the study establishes a dialogue between the profile of current periodicals and the quality criteria proposed by the evaluation systems of scientific publications in vogue in Brazil. The text indicates that theology as a field of knowledge is still giving its first steps and it evaluates the prospects of the area before the current scientific scenario.

Por meio de um mapeamento das revistas teológicas, o estudo estabelece um diálogo entre o perfil corrente das revistas e os critérios de qualidade propostos pelos sistemas de avaliação de publicações científicas em voga no Brasil.
