Resumo: |
The model describes simple heating/cooling as well as the non-linear behaviour under forced excitations and accounts for a characteristic temperature-dependent, cooperative behaviour, according to the proposed cooperative segmental theory of molecular dynamics – CSTMD. The theory only assumes that segments may be defined within materials’ structures (e.g. a 6-bond crankshaft in a polymer chain backbone), that are able to associate in varying, temperature-dependent, numbers (n ≥ 1). |
