Language, memory and process in the dramaturgy of Nelson Rodrigues

Nelson Rodrigues renewed both the Brazilian dramaturgical language and the theatrical scene, from the power of his dramatic texts. In his writing, one sees the identification of principles that transmute from life to the work and, consequently, to the stage, or, still, chronicles and tales to serve as the basis for the dramatic axis and character characters of several of his texts. In this study, based on the postulates of Magaldi (2010), Faria (2013), Preti (2004, 2006), Salles (2006, 2008), among others, present an aesthetic and poetic panorama, revealing traces of the process of creation of the author, that in the interweaving of memorialist and fictional aspects and the fertile transit of the narrative genre to the dramatic one, engender a new and particular language, that institutes revolutionary in the structuring of the thought and in the subjects approached. In the search for the concretization of the mentioned questions, we used the text of A falecida, written and staged in 1953, already under the creative influence of A vida como ela é..., daily column of tales premiered in 1951, holder of enormous success, for ten years, in the newspaper Última Hora.
