Portuguese abstract:O debate sobre g?nero tem, nos ?ltimos anos, ocupado cada vez maior espa?o, principalmente na ?rea das Ci?ncias Humanas e Sociais. Historicamente a mulher atravessou mudan?as, chegando, hoje, a ocupar posi??es na sociedade dificilmente pensadas por suas av?s ou mesmo m?es. Partindo do pressuposto de que h? uma constru??o social e hist?rica do g?nero e que a educa??o tem papel fundamental neste processo, o objetivo deste trabalho ? o de discutir a presen?a feminina no magist?rio do curso t?cnico em agropecu?ria no Col?gio T?cnico vinculado ? UFRuralRJ (CTUR). Tradicional nicho masculino, com docentes em sua maioria formados em zootecnia, veterin?ria e agronomia, o curso de agropecu?ria do CTUR experimentou, nos anos de 1970, uma nova situa??o. Com a licenciatura em ci?ncias agr?colas como um dos requisitos para formar o profissional do ensino nesta ?rea do conhecimento, a mulher come?ou a ganhar espa?o nas salas de aula do curso. Dessa forma, a quest?o que nos move ? o debate em torno das rela??es dentro da escola a partir deste acontecimento. O referencial te?rico tem como base os estudos de Jane Soares de Almeida, Guacira Lopes Louro, Cristina Bruschini, Amparo Blat Gimeno, entre outras. Curiosamente ou obviamente s?o mulheres falando de mulheres, mulheres pensando as quest?es femininas e buscando um novo entendimento para a nova sociedade em forma??o, com a mulher ocupando m?ltiplas fun??es, com m?ltiplas faces e m?ltiplos caminhos a seguir. Nesse sentido, a apresenta??o deste trabalho ? dividida em quatro etapas. Na primeira, faremos algumas considera??es sobre quest?es que envolvem o tema g?nero e educa??o, fugindo ao estere?tipo da mulher oprimida pelo homem castrador e fugindo, tamb?m, da vis?o simplificada de que discutir g?nero ? unicamente falar sobre mulher, assumindo que neste estudo as quest?es sobre g?nero ser?o analisadas sob uma perspectiva das rela??es homem/mulher/educa??o travadas em nossas escolas e dentro do contexto social e hist?rico. Assim, analisaremos como se d? a constru??o de g?nero em nossa sociedade, discutiremos o que ? ser mulher neste mundo ocidental e faremos ainda um pequeno hist?rico sobre a escolariza??o feminina no Brasil. Depois discorreremos sobre a feminiza??o do magist?rio no contexto educacional brasileiro, marcada por pensamentos sobre o magist?rio como voca??o feminina, pois ? mulher caberia formar os homens fortes da na??o, seja no lar ou na escola e, consequentemente, sobre uma poss?vel desvaloriza??o da carreira. Na terceira parte, abordaremos a rela??o entre educa??o e trabalho feminino nos dias de hoje. Finalmente, chegaremos ? situa??o do Col?gio T?cnico da UFRRJ, com a apresenta??o de um trabalho cuja metodologia utilizada ? a da hist?ria oral, com relatos de ex-diretores, ex-alunos e ex-alunas, funcion?rios e da primeira mulher a lecionar no curso t?cnico em agropecu?ria nesta institui??o. Tendo uma hist?ria de funcion?ria t?cnicoadministrativa na escola, esta professora cursou a licenciatura em ci?ncias agr?colas na Universidade Rural, formou-se em 1974 e passou a exercer a fun??o de docente, alterando o status quo e abrindo caminhos para outra vertente do trabalho feminino no campo. A fala desta mulher ? um exemplo de que as vozes femininas, muitas vezes caladas ainda em nossas escolas, t?m um caminho de supera??o recente.
English abstract:The debate about gender has recently occupied more space, especially on Social and Human Sciences areas. Historically, women have experienced many changes, being at certain positions their grandmothers or mothers would hardly think. Assuming that gender is socially and historically built and that education has a main role on this process, the aim of this work is to discuss the feminine presence on teaching at the agriculture and livestock technical course at the technical school connected to the Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro (CTUR). Traditional masculine niche, with most teachers graduated in zootechny, veterinarian and agronomy, the agriculture and livestock course at CTUR experimented a new situation in the 70 s. Due to the Agricultural Sciences Degree as requisite to form the teacher in this area, women gained space in the classrooms. This way, the question that stimulates us is the debate around the relations established inside the school after this moment. The theoretical reference is based on the studies of Jane Soares de Almeida, Guacira Lopes Louro, Cristina Bruschini, Amparo Blat Gimeno, among others. Curiously or obviously women talking about women, women thinking the feminine matters and searching a new acquaintance for the new society being formed, with the woman playing multiple roles with multiple faces and multiple ways to follow. So, this work is divided into four parts. On the first one we will make some considerations about questions that involve the theme of gender and education, escaping from the stereotype of the woman overwhelmed by the castrating man and also escaping from the simplified view that discussing gender is only talking about women, assuming that in this study the topics about gender will be analyzed under the perspective of the relations man/woman/education that take place in our schools and inside the historical and social context. So, we will analyze how gender is built in our society, we will discuss what being a woman means in this western world and we will show a short description about women s schooling in Brazil. Then we will consider the feminization of teaching in the Brazilian educational context, marked by thoughts of teaching as a feminine call , because the woman was responsible for forming the strong men of nation, at home or at school, and consequently, about a possible devaluation of the career. On the third part, we will approach the relation between feminine education and work nowadays. Finally, we will reach the Technical School of UFRRJ situation, with the presentation of a work based on oral history methodology, with reports of former directors, workers and students and of the first woma n to teach at the agricultural and livestock technical course in the institution. Being a technicalmanaging worker past in the school, this woman took the Agricultural Sciences Degree at Rural University, graduated in 1974 and started acting as a teacher, changing the status quo and opening a new way for another field of feminine work. This woman s talk is an example that the feminine voices, most of the times still shut in our schools, have a recent overcoming way.
