Resumo: The present applied research aimed at describing the process of collective learning and development of the functional professional competence of the military forensics experts in the CCrim through learning in the work to support the formulation of a training plan pertinent to the reality of the unit. Main concepts were identified, and qualitative empirical research was carried out. The theoretical framework includes people management by competencies, collective learning and communities of practice. The applied research was set up as an in depth and detailed single case study. The fourteen subjects of the research were, all the experts and the head of CCrim military police unit. The data was collected through semistructured interview with a script to elicit the learning context and developed competencies from the interviewees' perspective as well as their conceptions about what constitutes the professional competence of a criminal forensics expert. Field data were qualitatively interpreted. Resulting in a description of the ways of learning practiced nowadays by the experts in their daily work that generated and developed their functional competencies. The results show that formal and informal learning processes coexist enabling the experts to develop their functional competencies, while revealing characteristics of community of practice in which heterarquial work relations are established in the unit instead of hierarchical ones. As practical implications, therefore, the CCrim needs to invest and capitalize this interdisciplinary informal learning and the experience of veterans with the novices during the improvement of their professional competence in forensic criminal expertise including in the training and qualification of the experts through the investigation and expertise Criminal Course, which is the first step of the PMERJ Officer to perform the function. It is recommended forensics experts training to intensify the learning through practical lived experience during and after training, in order to achieve the needs and overcome challenges r during the practice of forensics expert function. It is also recommended to activate the collective learning process of the experts by means of fostering greater participation of the most experienced professionals in the work environment interacting with the novices, with the support and participation of the head of the unit. To deepen this research, it is suggested to continue examining how the managers of other military police criminal forensics units stimulate collective competences development in working groups, as well as the interrelationships and commitment among veteran and novices for knowledge sharing.

Para tanto, foram identificados os principais conceitos na literatura e realizada pesquisa emp?rica qualitativa. A fundamenta??o te?rica versa sobre gest?o de pessoas por compet?ncias, aprendizagem coletiva e comunidades de pr?tica. A pesquisa aplicada foi configurada como um estudo de caso ?nico para obter profundidade e detalhamento. Os quatorze sujeitos da pesquisa foram todos os peritos e a chefia do CCrim. A coleta de dados se realizou mediante entrevista semiestruturada com roteiro para explicitar o contexto da aprendizagem e compet?ncias desenvolvidas na vis?o dos entrevistados assim como suas concep??es sobre o que e como se constitui a compet?ncia profissional do perito criminal. Os dados de campo foram qualitativamente interpretados. Com base nos resultados obtidos, foram reveladas as formas de aprendizagem praticadas at? o momento pelos peritos no seu trabalho cotidiano e que t?m sido efetivas para gerar e desenvolver suas compet?ncias funcionais. Os resultados evidenciam que a coexist?ncia da aprendizagem formal e informal propicia aos peritos desenvolverem as suas compet?ncias funcionais, revelando caracter?sticas de comunidade de pr?tica nas quais se estabelecem rela??es heter?rquicas de trabalho para gerar conhecimento pericial na unidade ao inv?s das hier?rquicas que caracterizam estruturas militares. Como implica??es pr?ticas, apontam-se, portanto, a necessidade no CCrim de se investir e capitalizar a aprendizagem informal interdisciplinar e a viv?ncia de veteranos com novatos no aperfei?oamento da compet?ncia profissional em pericia criminal inclusive na forma??o e capacita??o dos peritos mediante seu curso de investiga??o e per?cia criminal, primeiro degrau do Oficial da PMERJ para o exerc?cio da fun??o. Recomenda-se para capacita??o de peritos a intensifica??o na atividade pr?tica durante e ap?s a forma??o, de modo a atender as necessidades e realidades a serem enfrentadas ao longo do exerc?cio da fun??o.
