Resumo: We will analyze the matter of Ethics in Lukács, explaining that there is a correlation in his work between ontologyand ethics. And it something different from what one might initially imagine. It is an approach that, with emphasis on the needfor a rebirth of Marxism in the face of the permanence of Stalinism, emphasizes the importance of apprehending society’sbeing and studies the practice that occurs in the medium of this same society. There is no theorizing that resembles a reflexiveapproach to Moral; rather, by bringing the correlation between ethics and ontology to the center of the debate, the author ofTowards an ontology of social being emphasizes what he calls the objective dialectic of the development of society.
