CORRELATION OF OPERATIONAL AND RESULTS INDICATORS AS A METHOD OF ADDRESSING THE MANAGEMENT OF SOCIETIES OF MIXED ECONOMY

The research is limited to the construction and presentation of a method of evaluating the tendency for public or private interest in mixed-capital companies, using as a model the state-owned Companhia de Saneamento do Paraná. The research was limited in describing, through the analysis of the correlation of operational and result indicators, the possible errors associated with the company's indicators. It was characterized as exploratory-descriptive, of theoretical-illustrative nature, conducted under the inductive method, and a quantitative approach, and when to the results as an applied research. The results of the evaluations identified the trend towards private interest, which stimulated the creation of action indicators, identifying 9 actions with associated errors, out of a total of 23 analyzed. The results also show that the delimitation of a methodology that allows the identification of the tendency for the public or private interest is possible through the use of correlation of indicators, but it is important to understand that the identification of error associated with correlation does not show what Is wrong, and it is up to the state manager to focus his attentions to minimize or eliminate the deficiencies found in the process.
