Resumo: This article presents the experiences and reflections that an extension group of the Psychology Course of Unesp, Bauru campus, has accomplished. Despite the opportunity of well-integrating the dimensions of teaching, research and extension, this project has led the group to corroborating important social and organizational phenomena related to how PwD are treated in our society. Many PwD are still jettisoned of the right to inclusion in the labor market and especially in Brazil, and those who are included are under state affirmative actions – such as the Quota Law. This means that there is still much to do in this field, until we come to the day that inclusion no longer happens as an obligation, but by a developed sense of social responsibility.
