Resumo: Despite the durability of reinforced concrete has been aim of study for many researchers for a long time, this field still need development. This study had as aim at analyzing the reinforced concrete structure lifecycle and durability that has been used for above five-year in urban environment. In order to analyze the durability indicators, the concepts regarding the theme were carried out to ground and address the methods used. Next, tests were conducted on-site and in laboratory, such as pacometry, sclerometry, and samples were collected to measure carbonation depth. Finally, the results were evaluated, and the building residual lifecycle was determined. These results enable to conclude this building project and the execution process met the requirements previously standardized by the NBR 6118 and NBR 15575. Findings of depth carbonation test were high, however, almost all these depths were measured within building plaster. That is the reason why the lifecycle determined should be reevaluated through new tests in little time from now on.

Este estudo teve como objetivo analisar a vida útil e durabilidade de estruturas de concreto com até 5 anos de uso em ambientes urbanos. Para avaliar os indicadores de durabilidade foram realizadas investigações dos conceitos relacionados ao tema de forma a fundamentar e direcionar os métodos utilizados. Em seguida, foram realizados ensaios no local e em laboratório como: os ensaios de pacometria, esclerometria e coletadas amostradas para medir a frente de carbonatação. Por fim, foram avaliados os resultados obtidos nos ensaios e determinada a vida útil residual do edifício objeto de estudo. Estes resultados possibilitaram concluir que o projeto e execução deste edifício atenderam os requisitos definidos pela NBR 6118 e pela NBR 15575. O ensaio de frente de carbonatação apresentou resultados relativamente altos, no entanto o reboco utilizado reteve, até o momento, a maior parte dessa carbonatação.
