Menores infratores: participação em homicídios, roubos, furtos, receptações e tráfico de drogas no município de Laguna/SC durante o ano de 2016

This monograph aims to outline the socioeconomic profile of adolescents who participated in homicide, robbery and drug trafficking crimes in the city of Laguna / SC in the year 2016. For the preparation of this study, classified as a Documentary and bibliographic research, we used deductive, descriptive, statistical and quantitative methods. The social and economic aspects of 59 adolescent offenders were studied. The research results showed the profile and the participation rates of these adolescents in the crimes investigated during the year 2016, and the results of the research indicate that, in their Majority are male (96.6%); Resided, in the period in which they practiced the act, in Vila Vitória (27.1%); Were 16 years old (28.8%); Had incomplete elementary education (79.7%); Did not work, only attended school (61%); already had a criminal record (66.1%); And, among the infraction acts under study, the most practiced was drug trafficking (35.6%). Based on the analysis of these data, it was possible to conclude, as expected, that the majority of young offenders with high social relevance, reside in a low income neighborhood and have a low level of schooling, the majority should already be at least attending high school. Moreover, the fact that an expressive percentage of these adolescents already has a criminal record is a strong indication that the measures currently applied to the re-education of these infants are not being successful, thus requiring preventive action by the Public Authorities in the sense of giving greater support to this class of individuals, investing mainly in the promotion of education, in order to avoid that the young people use the illegal commerce of narcotics or other crimes to have social conditions to be inserted in the community.
