The present monograph was conducted with the purpose of getting to know the notifications of violations of the rights of children and adolescents filed with the Directorate of Special Social Protection (DPSE) of the municipality of São José. This research is justified in view of the approach to the issue of violation of rights in internship camps. The problematizing issue sought to identify the highest incidence in notifications of violations of children's and adolescents' rights registered at DPSE in São José, during the period from January to October 2019. To this end, the objectives of this research are centered on: identifying when, how, and which forms of criminal acts perpetrated against children and adolescents are configured as crimes in Brazil; presenting what are the main violations of rights that occur in Brazil; and analyzing and presenting the data related to notifications in the municipality of São José. The methodology used during the development of the research was a deductive approach, of a quantitative and qualitative nature, making use of bibliographic and documental research of a descriptive character. After the research and analysis of 420 medical records registered in DPSE of São José, it was concluded that the main violation of rights is centered on sexual violence and primarily affects female children and adolescents.
