IMPLICATIONS OF THE PROBLEMATIZATION METHODOLOGY IN INFORMATION SCIENCE: the use of the Maguerez Arch in the teaching of Information and Knowledge Organization contents

Resumo: The concept of active methodologies and their application in Information Science is still considered a scarce topic of study. Adopting methodologies that develop teaching and student learning is a potential strategy in the teaching-learning process. This study aims to present the application of the problematization methodology with the Maguerez arc in the teaching of disciplinary contents of Information and Knowledge Organization in Information Science courses. Considered as article explanatory and bibliographic research, support was sought in reference to studies in Education and Information Science to characterize the actions pertaining to the methodology under study and its application in teaching. For this purpose, the action points of the Arco de Maguerez are characterized, namely: observation of reality, key points, theorization, hypotheses of solution, and application to reality. These actions integrate the objective of the problematization methodology, the actions of the Maguerez arc and the themes of organization of information and knowledge, result in this article.

Este estudo objetiva apresentar a aplicação da Metodologia da Problematização com o Arco de Maguerez no ensino de conteúdos disciplinares de Organização da Informação e do Conhecimento nos cursos de Ciência da Informação. Considerada como uma pesquisa de natureza explicativa e bibliográfica, buscou-se o apoio em estudos de referência na Educação e na Ciência da Informação para caracterizar as ações pertencentes a metodologia em estudo e a aplicação desta no ensino docente. Para tanto estão caracterizados os pontos de ação do Arco de Maguerez, a saber: observação da realidade, pontos-chave, teorização, hipóteses de solução e aplicação à realidade.
