Teaching in the discipline of integrated clinics

Resumo: The objective of this study was to assess the classroom instruction contents of the discipline of integrated clinics of public dental schools in the state of São Paulo. Based on interviews with the heads of the discipline of integrated clinics of 5 dental schools during the year of 2004, the planning course contents were evaluated. It was concluded that the theoretical contents most frequently discussed, in chronological order, were: introduction to integrated clinics; integrated clinical examination; planning of clinical cases; relationship among clinical procedures; and students’ seminars.
