Resumo: Introduction: Work-related mental disorders represent the 2nd leading cause of work-related illnesses and are associated from exposure to toxic agents to the hierarchical organizational structure of work, generating various psychosocial problems. Objective: To establish relationships between the epidemiological aspects of notifications for work-related mental disorders in Brazil in the decade from 2011 to 2020. Methods: This is an observational epidemiological study of the ecological type, whose data were collected from the Information System for Notifiable Diseases (SINAN), available at the Department of Informatics of the Unified Health System (DATASUS), accessed through TABNET. Results: Of the 13,106 notifications of work-related mental disorders in the last decade, females (63.07%) and the age group 30-49 years (66.19%) prevailed. In addition, neurotic, stress-related and somatoform disorders predominated (50.48%), as well as 62.85% of notifications evolving with disability. Correlations were also found between mental disorders and alcoholic workers (6%) and smokers (4.73%). Conclusions: Therefore, in view of the growth in absences, absenteeism, interpersonal adversities and dependence on drugs and other substances resulting from work-related mental disorders, it is necessary to reinforce care and preventive interventions aimed at the mental health of workers, aiming to reduce of work-related injuries.
