Resumo: | This research proposes an exploratory investigation of the behavior of brands in the urban context of the city of São Paulo. For this purpose, it is initially intended to understand the configuration of the elements that make up a system of visual identity. Because it is an approach related to the city of São Paulo, the urban context and its environmental perception will be studied, considering the changes that have taken place in the landscape of São Paulo due to the accelerated growth of the metropolis in the last decades. In this sense, it is opportune to lift the restrictions imposed by the Lei Cidade Limpa in force in the municipality a decade ago. Finally, in order to illustrate the relation of the signaling of the marks in the city, a study of the external identifications of commercial establishments will be carried out in order to understand the aesthetic resources used in the elements that surround the visual communication projects of its façades, considering the restrictions imposed by the Law. |

Por lo tanto se pretende, inicialmente, comprender la configuración de los elementos que componen un sistema de identidad visual. Por tratarse de un enfoque relacionado a la capital paulista, serán estudiados el contexto urbano y su percepción ambiental, considerando los cambios ocurridos en el paisaje paulistana debido al crecimiento acelerado de la metrópolis en las últimas décadas. En este sentido, es oportuno apuntar las restricciones impuestas por la Ley Ciudad Limpia vigente en el municipio hace una década. Finalmente, para ilustrar la relación de la señalización de las marcas en la ciudad, será realizado un estudio de las identificaciones externas de establecimientos comerciales con el objetivo de comprender los recursos estéticos utilizados en los elementos que circundan los proyectos de comunicación visual de sus fachadas, considerando las restricciones impuestas por la Ley.Esta pesquisa propõe uma investigação exploratória do comportamento das marcas no contexto urbano da cidade de São Paulo. Para tanto pretende=se, inicialmente, compreender a configuração dos elementos que compõem um sistema de identidade visual. Por se tratar de uma abordagem relacionada à capital paulista, serão estudados o contexto urbano e sua percepção ambiental, considerando as mudanças ocorridas na paisagem paulistana devido ao crescimento acelerado da metrópole nas últimas décadas. Neste sentido, torna-se oportuno levantar as restrições impostas pela Lei Cidade Limpa vigente no município há uma década.
