Resumo: Digital technologies and advances provided by computer graphics in the field of visual arts influence the creation process and ways of operating the image of animation cinema at the end of the 20th century. From the 1980s onwards, relationships between art, media and technology intensified, evoking discussions about artistic production and the diffusion of new cultural products. This article presents a reflection about characteristics of figurative numerical images in the context of the post-photographic paradigm (SANTAELLA; NÖTH, 1998), while they represent daily life, considering the concept of remembrance, under the discussions of Aumont (1993) and Gombrich (1986). The article also points out the reflections of contemporaneity through modeled images, when choosing the national animation cinema as an object of study in the work “Vida Maria”, produced in Ceará by director Márcio Ramos in 2006.
