Between morality and prohibition: pedagogization and sociodiscursive imaginaries about sex in “The Love School”

Resumo: | Since 2011, The Love School program has been structured with advice and tips to teach “intelligent love”. The aim of this article is to understand what pedagogy on sexual relations is projected by The Love School and submitted as an ideal to be followed. It starts with audiovisuality and discursive analysis anchored in sociodiscursive imaginaries, based on a playlist about sex. Injunctive discourses are noted in an asymmetry between presenters, referred to as “teachers”, and “students”, who aim for sexual efficacy. Alongside these imperatives, there are prejudiced discourses against non-heteronormative sexualities and moral bases that guide the “ideal” family, sexual and conjugal life. |

Nuestro objetivo es comprender qué pedagogía sobre las relaciones sexuales es proyectada por Escola do Amor y presentada como un ideal. Se parte de la audiovisualidad y del análisis discursivo anclado en imaginarios sociodiscursivos, a partir de una lista de reproducción sobre sexo. Los discursos injuntivos se notan en una asimetría entre los presentadores, llamados “profesores”, y los “alumnos”, que ansían a la eficacia sexual. Junto a los imperativos, hay discursos prejuiciosos contra las sexualidades no heteronormativas y las bases morales que orientan el “ideal” familiar, sexual y matrimonial.Desde 2011, o programa Escola do Amor se estrutura com conselhos e dicas para ensinar o “amor inteligente”. Neste artigo, objetiva-se perceber que pedagogia sobre as relações sexuais é projetada pela Escola do Amor e submetida como ideal a ser seguido. Parte-se pela audiovisualidade e análise discursiva ancorada pelos imaginários sociodiscursivos, a partir de uma playlist sobre sexo. Notam-se discursos injuntivos em uma assimetria entre apresentadores, chamados como “professores”, e “alunos”, que visam uma eficácia sexual.
