Resumo: An outline of the definitive Charter of Educating Cities, revised in November 2004 at the VIII International Congress in Genoa, in order to adapt its approaches to new social needs and challenges. It expresses the commitment undertaken by the cities that subscribed to all of the values and principles manifested in the Charter. It is defined as open to self-reformation and must be adapted to the aspects that rapid social evolution will demand in the future.
