Curricular integration:: contextualization and transversal themes

Resumo: The contextualization and transversal approach of socially relevant themes are proposals for the integration of knowledge that are intended to develop more meaningful learning from the students' point of view, which highlights the difficulty in assigning meaning to learning in basic education, problem inherent to purposes that are in dispute by the different social segments and that have as expression the hegemony of education in the neoliberal perspective. This article discusses the construction of contextualization proposals and the approach of transversal themes in curricular policy from the content analysis of some legal documents/education public policies. The analysis made it possible to identify the concepts of curricular integration disseminated by the documents. Despite recent curricular reforms hampering the development of meaningful learning, curricular integration can contribute to the development of pedagogical proposals that meet different social demands.

Este es un problema inherente a los propósitos educativos en disputa por los diferentes segmentos sociales y que se expresa en la hegemonía de la educación neoliberal. Este artículo aborda la construcción de propuestas de contextualización y el abordaje de temas transversales en la política curricular a partir del análisis de algunos documentos legales/políticas públicas educativas. El análisis permitió identificar los conceptos de integración curricular difundidos por los documentos. A pesar de las recientes reformas curriculares, que dificultan el desarrollo de aprendizajes significativos, la integración curricular puede contribuir al desarrollo de propuestas pedagógicas que respondan a las diferentes demandas sociales.Neste artigo é discutida a construção das propostas de contextualização e abordagem de temas transversais na política curricular, a partir da análise de conteúdo de alguns documentos legais.
