Thus, the present study used a literature review in databases such as Scielo, Pubmed, Medline and Lilacs. The research was carried out for articles published between 2014 and 2021, to identify and present the main complications due to the aesthetic use of Botulinum Toxin and its possible causes, with all we conclude that the excessive dosage and errors in the application technique, it is up to the professional strictly follow the protocols for the safe execution of the procedures.
