Resumo: Introduction: SARS-CoV2 is na emerging repiratory vírus that a public health challenge. Most fatal cases of the disease are associated with the presence of comorbidities such as chronic kidney disease (CKD). Objective: To create an information folder for renal patients undergoing renal replacement therapy (hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis) on the importance of healthy eating and good habits in strengthening and maintaining the imune system for the prevention of COVID-19. Methods: The information folder was developed in two stages: literature review and preparation of the folder. Results: Production of a folder containing information on food and immunity, regular sleep routine, good eating habits and shopping routine. Conclusions: This folder provides knowledge to kidney patients about the importance of healthy eating in helping prevent and care related to COVID-19. A maioria dos casos fatais da doença está associada a pacientes idosos e/ou com a presença de comorbidades como a doença renal crônica (DRC). Objetivo: Elaborar um folder informativo para os pacientes renais em terapia renal substitutiva (hemodiálise e diálise peritoneal) sobre a importância da alimentação saudável e bons hábitos no fortalecimento e manutenção do sistema imunológico para a prevenção da COVID-19. Métodos: O folder informativo foi elaborado em duas etapas: revisão da literatura científica existente e elaboração do folder. Resultados: Produção do folder contendo informações sobre alimentação e imunidade, rotina regular de sono, bons hábitos alimentares e rotina de compras. Conclusões: Esse folder proporciona conhecimentos aos pacientes renais sobre a importância de uma alimentação saudável no auxílio à prevenção e aos cuidados referentes à COVID-19.
