ANALYSIS OF THE CLINICAL-EPIDEMIOLOGICAL PROFILE OF PATIENTS WITH COVID-19 IN A REGIONAL HOSPITAL OF THE FEDERAL DISTRICT

Resumo: Objective: to identify the clinical-epidemiological profile of patients hospitalized with COVID-19 in a public emergency room in the Federal District, in the periods of highest incidence between 2020 and 2021. Methodology: descriptive study carried out from the analysis of data from 382 patient records admitted to the emergency room. The patients' sociodemographic and clinical variables were collected. Data were summarized on the Google Forms platform and subsequently organized in Microsoft Excel 2013 software. Data were analyzed using the SPSS version 21.0 statistical program. Results: the majority of the population assisted lived in the region of Ceilândia, male, aged between 41 and 80 years, with at least one chronic non-communicable disease, with emphasis on obesity. Conclusion: most people infected with COVID-19 lived in the region close to the hospital, were male, aged between 41 and 80 years old and had some kind of morbidity.

Metodologia: estudo descritivo realizado a partir da análise dos dados de 382 prontuários de pacientes admitidos no pronto-socorro. Foram coletadas as variáveis sociodemográficas e clínicas dos pacientes. Os dados foram sumarizados na plataforma Google Forms e, posteriormente, organizados no software Microsoft Excel 2013. Os dados foram analisados no programa estatístico SPSS versão 21.0. Resultados: a população atendida, em sua maioria, foi residente na região de Ceilândia, do gênero masculino, com idade entre 41 a 80 anos, portadores de pelo menos uma doença crônica não transmissível, com destaque para a obesidade.
