Resumo: The objective of this article is to do an exegetical reading of the Sermon on the Mount, according to the Matthew perspective, looking to see how Christ explained, illustrated and applied his teachings in this pericope, in order to propose parameters for contemporary preachers who want to be inspired by the communication of the Master for the purpose of preaching the Word considering the challenges of the Information society.
