Em um corpus de dez narrativas, analisou-se, qualitativamente, sob a perspectiva pedagógica e teológica, o discurso memorialista e as relações de poder que se estabelecem na sociedade, principalmente no âmbito escolar. A Olimpíada originou-se do programa Escrevendo o Futuro, desenvolvido pela Fundação Itaú Social entre 2002 e 2006. Atualmente, é realizado em parceria do Ministério da Educação com a Fundação Itaú Social e o Centro de Estudos e Pesquisas em Educação, Cultura e Ação Comunitária (Cenpec). O estudo foca, no primeiro capítulo, a questão das fronteiras entre os gêneros memórias, autobiografia, ficção e história, a oralidade, bem como os seus possíveis entrecruzamentos. No segundo capítulo, reflete-se sobre as relações de poder e os seus efeitos no plano individual e coletivo. Aborda-se a cultura hegemônica que subjaz nas instituições educacionais, bem como a “disciplinarização” dos corpos, a constituição dos espaços, do tempo, da hierarquização nos processos de ensino-aprendizagem. O terceiro capítulo relaciona memória, esquecimento e (des) construção de identidades, refletindo-se sobre a formação histórica dos sujeitos e suas representações sociais, bem como estratégias de dominação ou exclusão; distribuição e manutenção de sistemas elitistas.The goal of this conclusion paper is to show the empowerment of subjects within the category of memories, through textual productions produced by students from the 7th and 9th grades of Elementary Education, participants in the Olympic project Portuguese Language Writing the Future (OLPEF). In a body of ten narratives a qualitative analysis was done from a pedagogic and theological perspective, of the memory discourse and the power relations which are established in society, mainly in the school environment. The Olympics originated from the Writing the Future program developed by the Fundação Itaú Social [Itaú Social Foundation] between 2002 and 2006. It currently is carried out in a partnership between the Ministry of Education and the Itaú Social Foundation and the Centro de Estudos e Pesquisas em Educação, Cultura e Ação Comunitária (Cenpec) [Center of Studies and Research in Education, Culture and Community Action] The study focuses, in the first chapter, on the boundaries between genres of memories, autobiography, fiction and history, orality, as well as their possible intertwinings. In the second chapter, there is a reflection on the power relations and their effects on the individual and collective level. We deal with the hegemonic culture which underlies the educational institutions as well as with the “disciplinarization” of the bodies, the constitution of the spaces, the time, the tiering in the processes of teaching-learning.
