Resumo: | This paper presents patterns influence society can exert on companies in the infrastructure sector. Through these patterns, society can actively participate in the external control of organizations, assisting and even substituting the actions of regulating agencies, both governmental and private. As an important actor in the relation between these companies and their external environment, society can regulate organizational behavior. The patterns of influence are presented in an approach that includes contextual, historical and process-related analysis, combined with an explanation of the concepts used. |

Através desses padrões, a sociedade pode participar ativamente no controle externo das organizações, auxi-liando e até substituindo a ação dos órgãos reguladores. Desta forma, a sociedade, um agente importante no relacionamento entre as empresas desses setores e seu ambiente externo, pode regular o comportamento organizacional.
