Resumo: This is a qualitative study from the perspective of dialectical hermeneutics on healthcare strategies for men in the view of health professionals. The authors drew on 18 semi-structured interviews addressing male sexuality, men's healthcare, participation in prenatal care, and fatherhood. Three thematic lines were established, based on an understanding of the interviews as a whole, independently of both the specific themes mentioned above and the region. The themes provide structure for and are structured by ideas that traverse the various interviews. Themes of male sexuality associated with healthcare and fatherhood further evoke the private dimension, referred to the home's geographic boundaries. These ideas people the cultural repertoire on maleness; the novelty lies in unlinking sexuality from sexual relations and sexual health from transmission and contagion in the interpretation of our material.

Contamos con un acervo de 18 entrevistas semiestructuradas sobre sexualidad masculina, cuidados de salud masculinos, prenatal y paternidad. Se generaron tres ejes a partir de una comprensión del conjunto de las declaraciones, que permitió identificarlos independientemente de la temática abordada (sexualidad masculina, participación de los hombres durante el periodo prenatal y paternidad) y de la región. Los mismos son de carácter estructurante y están estructurados por ideas que aparecen en las diferentes declaraciones. Los temas de la sexualidad masculina, asociada al cuidado de la salud, y a la paternidad todavía evocan la dimensión privada, referida a los límites de la geografía de la casa. Esas ideas pueblan el repertorio cultural sobre el hombre; la novedad está en desvincular sexualidad de relaciones sexuales, y la salud sexual de la transmisión y contagio en la interpretación de nuestro acervo.Analisamos, com base em uma pesquisa qualitativa sob a perspectiva hermenêutica-dialética, as estratégias de atenção à saúde dos homens segundo a ótica de profissionais de saúde. Contamos com um acervo de 18 entrevistas semiestruturadas sobre sexualidade masculina, cuidados de saúde masculinos, pré-natal e paternidade. A partir da compreensão do conjunto dos depoimentos, foram identificados três eixos, independentemente da temática abordada (sexualidade masculina, envolvimento de homens no pré-natal e paternidade) e da região. Os eixos são estruturantes e estruturados por ideias que permeiam os diferentes depoimentos. Os temas sexualidade masculina em associação com paternidade e cuidado à saúde ainda evocam a dimensão privada, referida aos limites da geografia da casa.
