Resumo: This research aimed to investigate in the XIII, XIV, XV, XVI, and XVII editions of the Parana’s Environmental Education Meeting (Encontro Paranaense de Educação Ambiental – EPEA) publications the theoretical-methodological trends that have marked out teacher’s education for Environmental Education (EE). The data collection and analysis are subsidized in the Content Analysis. Among the final considerations, we have identified that the suppression of the environmental themes in the licentiate guiding documents and the predominance of naive understandings of the EE, for both licensees and educators, are shown as the main gaps in the initial education. In the continued scope, stands out the teacher’s difficulties to develop the interdisciplinarity. The future development in the field points to the curricular environmentalization; overcoming knowledge fragmentation; the constitution of continuing education processes that provide subsidies for a multifaceted understanding of environmental issues.

La recopilación y el análisis de datos se subvencionaban en el Análisis de Contenido. Entre las consideraciones concluyentes, identificamos que la supresión de los temas ambientales en los documentos rectores de las licenciaturas y el predominio de los entendimientos ingenuos de la EA, tanto para los licenciandos como para los profesores de formación, se presentan como las principales brechas de la formación inicial. En el ámbito continuo, se destaca la dificultad de los profesores en desarrollar la interdisciplinariedad. Los desarrollos futuros al campo apuntan para: la ambientalización curricular; la superación de la fragmentación del conocimiento; la constitución de procesos de formación continua que propicien subsidios a un entendimiento multifacético de los problemas ambientales.Esta pesquisa objetivou investigar nas publicações referentes às edições XIII, XIV, XV, XVI e XVII do Encontro Paranaense de Educação Ambiental (EPEA), as tendências teórico-metodológicas que têm balizado a formação de professores para a Educação Ambiental (EA). A coleta e análise dos dados subsidiaram-se na Análise de Conteúdo. Entre as considerações conclusivas, identificamos que a supressão dos temas ambientais nos documentos orientadores das licenciaturas e o predomínio de compreensões ingênuas de EA, tanto para licenciandos quanto para professores formadores, apresentam-se como as principais lacunas da formação inicial. No âmbito continuado, destaca-se a dificuldade dos professores em desenvolver a interdisciplinaridade.
