ETNOGRAFIA DA ESPERA: A METÁFORA DO CAMINHO E SUAS IMPLICAÇÕES E EXPECTATIVAS ATRAVÉS DA FILA DE VACINAÇÃO DO COVID-19

This article aims to analyze the biographical narratives of 4 people who were in the vaccination queue at Posto Modelo, in Bairro Farroupilha, in the city of Porto Alegre. The camp was run during October 2021. The proposal was to discuss, through an ethnography of waiting, their implied memories about the Covid-19 pandemic as well as their expectations about their moment of vaccination. To articulate the field and elaborate the questions, 3 categories were separated: "The feelings of this Waiting", "The Implications in the biographical narratives" and "Post-Vaccine: expectations about the future". The field pointed out that, differently from what was expected, people were not necessarily getting vaccinated as an expectation of overcoming the COVID-19 pandemic, which ended up revealing a conflict between individual beliefs, civic duty and concern for the collective.
