This study aims to highlight the treatments used in the resolution of obesity. This is an integrative review, which was based on research on the following Health Sciences Descriptors (DeCS): obesity; treatment. The articles published in the year 2023 until 05/31/2023 were selected, selecting 70 articles, of which 60 were excluded and only 10 were reviewed. Obesity is a chronic disease that its etiology may depend on several factors such as lifestyle, genetic factors, metabolic diseases. In addition, this disease also has several complications such as cardiovascular disorders, type 2 diabetes and dementia. In view of these complications and the multiple causes for obesity, greater specialization of health centers and their professionals in the treatment of obesity is necessary.
