Resumo: | Neurodevelopmental diseases present symptoms that negatively reflect on quality of life. In this context, the present study aims to demonstrate the effectiveness of hippotherapy in the treatment of Autism Spectrum Disorder and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. This is a systematic review involving nine articles published between 2014 and 2023. The databases used were “Scielo”, “PubMed”, “Uptodate” and “Google Scholar”. With this, it was concluded that patients who use hippotherapy as an alternative treatment show significant improvement in concentration, visual and tactile sensitivities, self-esteem, neuromuscular functions and socialization. |

Nesse contexto, o presente estudo visa demonstrar a eficácia da equoterapia no tratamento do Transtorno do Espectro Autista e no Transtorno de Déficit de Atenção e Hiperatividade. Trata-se de uma revisão sistemática envolvendo nove artigos publicados entre 2014 a 2023. As bases de dados utilizadas foram “Scielo”, “PubMed", “Uptodate” e “Google Acadêmico".
