Resumo: | The study analyzed the relationship between nutrient splitting (N and K) and population density on the severity of onion downy mildew under no-tillage cultivation within the conditions of Alto Vale do Itajaí (Brazil). For this purpose, field trials were conducted in the years 2017, 2018 and 2019, in Ituporanga (Brazil). The treatments corresponded to four plant densities (300, 400, 500 and 600 thousand plants ha-1) submitted to applications of nitrogen (150 kg N ha-1) and potassium (127.5 kg K2O ha-1). The doses of nutrients were distributed along the vegetative cycle of the culture via fertigation on a weekly, biweekly and monthly, based on the absorption curve of nutrients for the cultivar Empasc 352 - Bola Precoce. In fertigated no-tillage systems, the distribution of nutrients (N and K) does not influence the severity of downy mildew. Mildew severity increases linearly with increasing population density especially from 500 thousand plants per ha-1. |

Para ello, se realizaron ensayos de campo en los años 2017, 2018 y 2019, en Ituporanga (Brasil). Los tratamientos correspondieron a cuatro densidades poblacionales (300, 400, 500 y 600 mil plantas ha-1) sometidas a aplicaciones de nitrógeno (150 kg N ha-1) y potasio (127,5 kg K2O ha-1) distribuidas a lo largo del ciclo vegetativo del cultivo vía fertirrigación en forma semanal, quincenal y mensual, en base a la curva de absorción de dichos nutrientes para el cultivar Empasc 352 - Bola Precoce. En sistemas de labranza cero con fertirrigación, la distribución de nutrientes (N y K) no influye en la severidad del mildiú velloso. La gravedad del mildiú aumenta linealmente con el aumento de la densidad de población, especialmente de 500 mil plantas por ha-1.Analisou-se a relação entre o parcelamento de nutrientes (N e K) e a densidade populacional sobre a severidade de míldio da cebola sob cultivo em plantio direto fertirrigado nas condições do Alto Vale do Itajaí - SC. Com este propósito foram conduzidos ensaios de campo nos anos de 2017, 2018 e 2019, em Ituporanga - SC. Os tratamentos corresponderam a quatro densidades populacionais (300, 400, 500 e 600 mil plantas ha-1) submetidas a aplicações de nitrogênio (150 kg N ha-1) e potássio (127,5 kg K2O ha-1) distribuídas ao longo do ciclo vegetativo da cultura via fertirrigação de forma semanal, quinzenal e mensal, tendo por base a curva de absorção dos referidos nutrientes para o cultivar Empasc 352 - Bola Precoce. Em sistema de plantio direto fertirrigado o parcelamento de nutrientes (N e K) não influencia a severidade do míldio.
