SENSES OF YOUNG PEOPLE LIVING WITH HIV AGAINST STIGMAS, PREJUDICES AND VULNERABILITIES IN AN EDUCATIONAL ENVIRONMENT

Resumo: This article aims to discuss the presence of stigmas and prejudices in the face of HIV/AIDS, pointing out its historical traits in the educational environment towards young people living with HIV. Faced with this phenomenon, a study was carried out with 12 young people between 15 and 24 years old in the city of Cuiabá- MT. The qualitative research investigated the meanings of these young people living with HIV in the educational environment: the teaching-learning process, power relations - stigmas and prejudices - in front of their peers. We worked on a theoretical-methodological view of Social Constructionism through the analysis of linguistic repertoires investigating the production of meanings enunciated by discursive practices. It was observed in the results, reports of those who were victims of stigmas and prejudices and / or how they appeared unanimously among the voices, probably would be victims of prejudice and isolation if someone knew of their seropositive status, reporting the fear of exposing themselves to colleagues and teachers. There are also consonances in the findings about school silences in the face of issues such as HIV / AIDS / Prejudice, since in the few times that there was any work related to this issue, epidemiologically limited to biology classes. Such environments are vulnerable, lacking support - as teacher training - to deal with these realities of our contemporaneity, as well as to address such important issues in mitigating the sexual vulnerabilities of our youth.

Such environments are vulnerable, lacking support - as teacher training - to deal with these realities of our contemporaneity, as well as to address such important issues in mitigating the sexual vulnerabilities of our youth.No presente artigo se objetiva analisar as vivências, no ambiente educacional, de jovens com diagnóstico positivo para HIV, debatendo a presença dos estigmas e preconceitos diante do HIV/Aids, apontando seus traços históricos presentes no ambiente educacional. Perante tal fenômeno realizou-se estudo com 12 jovens na faixa etária entre 15 a 24 anos no município de Cuiabá - MT. A pesquisa, de cunho qualitativo, investigou os sentidos desses jovens vivendo com HIV no ambiente educacional. Com especial atenção ao processo ensino-aprendizagem e às relações de poder – estigmas e preconceitos – diante de seus pares. Trabalhou-se enquanto olhar teórico-metodológico com o Construcionismo Social por meio da análise de repertórios linguísticos investigando a produção de sentidos enunciados por práticas discursivas. Observaram-se nos resultados, relatos de sujeitos que foram vítimas de estigmas, preconceitos e/ou - como aparece unânime em meio às vozes - que provavelmente seriam vítimas de preconceitos e isolamento caso alguém soubesse de sua condição soropositiva, relatando o medo de se expor para colegas e professores. Aparecem consonâncias, também, nas constatações acerca do silenciamento escolar diante de temáticas como HIV/AIDS/Preconceitos, haja vista que nas poucas vezes que houve algum trabalho relacionado a essa questão, limitaram-se epidemiologicamente às aulas de biologia.
