PEDAGOGICAL PRACTICES AND STS EDUCATION IN CONTINUING EDUCATION: A REVIEW STUDY

Resumo: This article focused on investigating Brazilian theses and dissertations that contemplate the continuing education (CE) of teachers of Natural Sciences and its Technologies (NST), in the Science/Technology/Society (STS) perspective. Sought to understand in the works what were the challenges that emerged from the formative processes that focused on the development and analysis of pedagogical practices. From a bibliographic survey, in the database of the Brazilian Institute of Information in Science and Technology, four theses and three dissertations were analyzed using the content analysis. The research results point to the importance of developing teaching practices during the CE processes in CTS, because, through such action, it becomes possible to understand the difficulties that emerge during the implementation of these practices, and by understanding the difficulties, can to seek to suppress them, thus improving education in the area of NST.

Se buscó comprender en los trabajos cuáles fueron los desafíos que surgieron de los procesos de FC que se centraron en el desarrollo y análisis de prácticas pedagógicas. A partir de un levantamiento bibliográfico, en la base de datos del Instituto Brasileño de Información en Ciencia y Tecnología, cuatro tesis y tres disertaciones fueron analizadas mediante análisis de contenido. Los resultados de la investigación apuntan para la importancia del desarrollo de las prácticas docentes durante los procesos de FC en CTS, pues, a través de esa acción, es posible comprender las dificultades que surgen durante la implementación de estas prácticas, y comprendiendo las dificultades, se puede intentar suprimirlas, mejorando así la educación en el campo de CNT.O presente artigo trata-se de uma investigação em teses e dissertações brasileiras que contemplam a formação continuada (FC) de professores de Ciências da Natureza e suas Tecnologias (CNT), sob a perspectiva Ciência/Tecnologia/Sociedade (CTS). Buscou-se compreender nos trabalhos quais foram os desafios que surgiram dos processos de FC que tiveram como foco o desenvolvimento e análise de práticas pedagógicas. A partir de um levantamento bibliográfico, na base de dados do Instituto Brasileiro de Informação em Ciência e Tecnologia, foram analisadas quatro teses e três dissertações utilizando a análise de conteúdo.
