Resumo: STEAM refers to the development of educational experiences in which the areas of science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics are worked through interdisciplinary practices and projects. It should be noted here that this study was carried out during the pandemic period and aims to present the experience of 03 teachers in the elaboration and application of a project based on the STEAM approach for students of the 9th year of Elementary School of the Municipal Education System of Tangará da Serra -MT. The research was qualitative, applied in nature, and descriptive in terms of objectives, as a procedure, field research was carried out, outlining the realization of three face-to-face meetings with collaborating teachers, with the objective of collectively building STEAM projects in their school. The results indicated that the practical experience of the concepts of the STEAM approach was provided, such as interdisciplinary work and meaningful learning and the application of active methodologies to teachers.

Cabe señalar aquí que este estudio se realizó durante el período de pandemia y tiene como objetivo presentar la experiencia de 03 docentes en la elaboración y aplicación de un proyecto basado en el enfoque STEAM para estudiantes del 9° año de la Enseñanza Fundamental de la Educación Municipal. Sistema de Tangará da Serra -MT. La investigación fue cualitativa, de carácter aplicada, y descriptiva en cuanto a objetivos, como procedimiento se realizó una investigación de campo, delineando la realización de tres encuentros presenciales con docentes colaboradores, con el objetivo de construir colectivamente proyectos STEAM en Su escuela. Los resultados indicaron que se brindó la experiencia práctica de los conceptos del enfoque STEAM, como el trabajo interdisciplinario y el aprendizaje significativo y la aplicación de metodologías activas a los docentes.A abordagem STEAM faz referência ao desenvolvimento de experiências educacionais em que as áreas de ciências, tecnologia, engenharia, artes e matemática são trabalhadas por meio de práticas interdisciplinares. Salienta-se aqui que este estudo foi realizado no período de pandemia e tem como objetivo apresentar a experiência de três professores na elaboração e aplicação de projeto baseado na abordagem STEAM para estudantes do 9º ano do Ensino Fundamental do Sistema Municipal de Ensino de Tangará da Serra – MT. A pesquisa foi qualitativa, de natureza aplicada, e descritiva quanto aos objetivos. Como procedimento, foi realizada pesquisa de campo, delineando-se na realização de três encontros presenciais com os professores colaboradores, com o objetivo de construir coletivamente projetos STEAM em suas respectivas escolas. Os resultados indicaram que foi oportunizada a experiência prática dos conceitos da abordagem STEAM, tais como o trabalho interdisciplinar, a aprendizagem significativa e a aplicação de metodologias ativas aos professores.
