“He saw him, he took pity on him”: hermeneutic-theological study of the parable of the good Samaritan

Resumo: The article presents a brief hermeneutic-theological study of the parable of the good Samaritan, narrated only by the evangelist Luke (cf. Lk 10,25-37). It presents, in a succinct way, an overview of the Gospel according to Luke, following some methodological steps that help in the understanding of the biblical text. Then, contextualizes that pericope within the Gospel, presenting a comment that helps in understanding the text. Finally, some conclusions are drawn up that help the reader to reflect on the actuality of the parable.
