PROMOTION OF OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH: SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES OF THE OCCUPATIONAL NURSE

Resumo: Objective: To identify the skills and competences of the Occupational Nurse in promoting worker health. Methods: Integrative literature review carried out in the SCIELO, BDENF, LILACS databases, published in the last 5 (five) years. The inclusion and exclusion criteria were applied, and the final sample consisted of 42 articles. Results: the universe of this review was organized in a synoptic table with 6 articles, with a view to directing the extraction of data to answer the proposed objective. Conclusion: The nurse's performance as a multifunctional professional was observed and care competencies/activities can be identified; administrative; educational; integrative and research. In conclusion, periodic evaluations are the responsibility of the labor nurse. In addition, it was noted that social skills, communication skills and behavioral skills are needed.

Foram aplicados os critérios de inclusão e exclusão, e a amostra final foi composta por 42 artigos. Resultados: o universo desta revisão foi organizado em um quadro sinóptico com 6 artigos, com vistas a direcionar a extração dos dados para responder ao objetivo proposto. Conclusão: Observou-se a atuação do enfermeiro como um profissional multifuncional e pode-se identificar as competências/atividades assistenciais; administrativas; educativas; integrativas e de pesquisa. Concluindo-se que é de responsabilidade do enfermeiro do trabalho avaliações periódicas.
