Nursing care for premature and full-term newborns with jaundice

Resumo: Objective: In view of this, this research aims to analyze the studies carried out on nursing care in the treatment of jaundice. Methodology: The present study deals with an integrative review of the literature, through the analysis of scientific studies, bringing them together in a statistical analysis. The articles that apparently met the inclusion criteria, in this case, 156 articles, were obtained and analyzed in full. After careful reading, only 15 articles strictly met the inclusion criteria. Results: After analyzing the 15 articles that make up this work, the following topics were found for discussion: “Nursing care for premature and full-term newborns with jaundice”. Final Considerations: Thus, based on the objectives of this work, we can say that there are motivations that favor nursing care aimed at premature and full-term newborns with jaundice, keeping them active and thus achieving the expected results. Therefore, the duty of nursing and other health professionals is to provide all necessary care to patients, in addition to providing care in accordance with the rules to premature and full-term newborns with jaundice.

Metodologia: O presente estudo trata de uma revisão integrativa da literatura, por meio da análise dos estudos científicos reunindo-os numa análise estatística. Os artigos que aparentemente cumpriam com os critérios de inclusão, neste caso, 156 artigos foram obtidos e analisados na íntegra. Após a leitura criteriosa, apenas 15 artigos, atenderam rigorosamente aos critérios de inclusão. Resultados: Após a análise dos 15 artigos que compõem este trabalho, foram encontrados os seguintes temas para discussão: “Cuidados de enfermagem ao recém-nascido prematuro e à termo portador de icterícia”. Considerações Finais: Assim, a partir dos objetivos deste trabalho, podemos dizer que existem motivações que favorecem a assistência da enfermagem voltado ao recém-nascido prematuro e à termo portador de icterícia mantendo-o ativo e assim alcançando os resultados esperados.
