Resumo: Objective: Analyze the action of nurses in esthetics performing esthetic procedures aimed at health and beauty. Methodology: This is an integrated literature review study encompassing the period from 2017 to 2023, through a search in electronic databases of the virtual health library (Biblioteca Virtual emSaúde– BVS/BIREME) and Scientific Electronic Library Online (Scielo). Results: 6 scientific articles were selected from which information was subtracted through the proposed themes, obtaining a set of results and conclusions of the selected authors. Conclusion: It is concluded that, for specialist professionals in the area of aesthetics, it is extremely important to have improvements in their knowledge, triggering improvements for the benefit of the patient.

Metodologia: Trata-se de um estudo de revisão integrada de literatura realizado sobre o período de 2017 a 2023 através de um levantamento em base de dados eletrônicos da Biblioteca Virtual em Saúde (BVS/BIREME) e Scientific Electronic Library Online (Scielo). Resultados: Foram selecionados seis artigos científicos, de onde foram subtraídas as informações sobre os temas propostos, obtendo um conjunto de resultados e conclusões dos autores escolhidos.
