“A STATGER ON THE WALK”: THE REPRESENTATION OF ANIMALITY IN SERGUILLA'S POETICS

The aim here is to outline the possible neighborhood zones between the poetics of the poet Luís Serguilha and the philosophy of difference of Deleuze-Guattari. The clipping will be traced from the animal-poem of the poet and the becoming-animal of the nomadic philosopher. I will defend the idea that Serguilha's animality is not part of the way some scholars have been doing in capturing animality, in caging it in representation and in the island of consciousness. In contrast, Serguilha evokes the power of the outside, takes language to the limit of experience, making it stutter. By making this poetic machinery dance, Serguilha removes the animality of enclosure, evokes the animal in us, transfigured into a dancer, because the day we lose the animality in us, we will lose the meaning of life as an event, we will stop dancing and affirm the life.
