Reterritorialização e Cultura Popular: as Representações Ritualísticas no Auto do Boi do Rosário em Pirenópolis (GO)

O Brasil é um país multicultural repleto de diversidades e expressões culturais que se miscigenam e vão dando origens a outras, todas com seus simbolismos e significados. O Bumba meu boi nasce no Brasil na Região Nordeste, às margens do Rio São Francisco, e se dissemina por todo o território nacional. Por assim ser, constata-se que se trata de uma manifestação cultural reterritorializada. Isso acontece em Goiás, mais especificamente em Pirenópolis (GO), com a festa do Boi do Rosário, que foi implantada por um grupo de maranhenses, em agosto de 2010, e envolve crianças e idosos. O ritual é marcado por três momentos-chave durante o ano, no qual o grupo o denomina de “ciclo anual da festa do Boi”: o Nascimento, o Batizado e o Sacrifício. O foco deste artigo é a investigação sobre o ritual que envolve o sacrifício do Boi e as formas de transformação social que merecem ser analisadas e interpretadas. Reterritorialization and Popular Culture: the Ritualistic Representations in the Auto of the Rosary Ox in Pirenópolis (Go) Brazil is a multicultural country full of diversities and cultural expressions that mixes and gives origin to others, all with their symbolisms and meanings. Bumba meu boi is born in Brazil in the Northeast Region, on the banks of the São Francisco River, and spreads throughout the national territory. So to be, it is verified that this is a reterritorialized cultural manifestation. This happens in Goiás, more specifically in Pirenópolis (GO), with the celebration of the Ox of the Rosary, which was implanted by a group of Maranhão in August 2010, and involves children and the elderly. The ritual is marked by three key moments during the year, in which the group calls it the "annual cycle of the Ox festival": Birth, Baptism and Sacrifice. The focus of this article is the investigation on the ritual that involves the sacrifice of the Ox and the forms of social transformation that merit to be analyzed and interpreted.
