Resumo: Resorting to the theoretical universe of psychoanalysis and of the Arendtian thought, this study reflects on a paradox that involves the politics of school inclusion. The twentieth century witnessed the psychologization ofthe educational discourse and an emptying of the public dimension of the education system. During this period, the common or regular school was replaced by a “special” school “adequate” to the “student’s psychological capacity to learn”. So, the public education system aspires to operate “custom fitted” to meet the “special needs” of its students from public and special schools. In sum, this article intends to approach some of the effects of this system education for the special students.

El siglo XX asistió a la psicologización del discurso educativo y a una deflación de la dimensión pública de la educación. Durante este período la escuela regular o común dio vez a una escuela “especial” o “adecuada a la capacidad psi del aprendizaje del alumno”. El sistema público de la enseñanza desea, así, operar “en la medida cierta” para que pueda atender a las necesidades especiales de los estudiantes venidos de las escuelas públicas y especiales. Se pretende en este artículo, sin más, dar enfoque a algunos de los efectos de esa enseñanza para tales alumnos especiales.Recorrendo ao universo teórico da psicanálise e do pensamento arendtiano, reflete se aqui sobre um contrassenso que envolve a política de inclusão escolar. Já que o século XX assistiu, em função da psicologização do discurso educacional, a um esvaziamento do sentido público da educação, a escola regular ou comum deu vez, hegemonicamente, a uma escola “especial” ou “adequada” à dita capacidade psi de aprendizagem do aluno. Ou seja, o sistema regular de ensino almeja, desde então, operar “sob medida”, atendendo inclusive o aluno oriundo de escolas especiais de modo “especial” (e não público).
