Teaching Innovation in the University: the convergence process in the European space of Higher Education

Resumo: The text discusses the Bologna Declaration 2000 as a process constructed that occupied a common European space in the Higher Education. It has been imprint a deep transformation in the European universities. The majority of countries and the most of their universities work to construct a system of innovation with considerable effort. The community of Higher Education is passing through a complex process with financial, political, pedagogical and institutional implications. One of the objectives of this paper is to refl ects on the innovative process in the space of the Higher Education and tied it with the debates and dilemmas that has been challenging the community. Key words – Bologna declaration; higher education; innovation; dilemmas.

Prácticamente todos los países y buena parte de las universidades están en la actualidad iniciando o profundizando en procesos de innovación semejantes. Estamos ante un proceso complejo y con grandes implicaciones tanto políticas, como fi nancieras, tanto institucionales como pedagógicas. Éste es el objetivo de este artículo, analizar el proceso de convergencia hacia el Espacio Europeo de Educación Superior (EEES) como un proceso de innovación, vinculando, por tanto, las nuevas propuestas con lo que había hasta ahora y situarlo en el marco de debates y dilemas que ha suscitado.
