Resumo: Considering the dynamics brought by article 139, IV of the Brazilian Civil Procedure Code of 2015, which raised the discussion about the application of atypical executive measures in the scope of executive procedures, this study aims to dwell on the theme in order to understand the practical experience of these measures, especially when considering that judicial executions occupy a large volume in the Brazilian Judiciary. To this end, a doctrinal analysis was conducted in order to provide a survey of the positions in favor of and against the use of atypical measures. Moreover, a comparison between jurisprudence was also carried out, using research and description of judgments of the Superior Court of Justice, in order to demonstrate the legal insecurity of the theme in various courts of the country. Para isso, foi feita uma análise doutrinária, a fim de oportunizar um levantamento de posicionamentos favoráveis e contrários ao uso das medidas atípicas. Ademais, também foi realizada comparação entre jurisprudência, com uso de pesquisas e descrição de julgados do Superior Tribunal de Justiça, com intuito de demonstrar a insegurança jurídica do tema em diversos tribunais pátrios.
