Aging in rural communities: the life narrated by old men and women in the interior of Paraná

Resumo: Given the importance of scientific production about the aging process in rural communities, this article presents an excerpt from the narratives of four elderly people about the experience of aging in a rural community in the interior of the state of Paraná. Three axes of analysis were listed based on semi-structured interviews: the (new) relationships with agriculture, interpersonal relationships in the community and the advent of Covid-19. It is hoped to provide subsidies for the development of research and public policies that can guarantee the fundamental rights for elderly people to age as and where they wish.

Se enumeraron tres ejes de análisis a partir de entrevistas semiestructuradas: las (nuevas) relaciones con la agricultura, las relaciones interpersonales en la comunidad y el advenimiento del Covid-19. Se espera otorgar subsidios para el desarrollo de investigaciones y políticas públicas que puedan garantizar los derechos fundamentales de las personas mayores a envejecer como y donde lo deseen.Compte tenu de l'importance de la production scientifique sur le processus de vieillissement dans les communautés rurales, cet article présente un extrait des récits de quatre personnes âgées sur l'expérience du vieillissement dans une communauté rurale à l'intérieur de l'État du Paraná. Trois axes d'analyse ont été recensés à partir d'entretiens semi-directifs : les (nouveaux) rapports avec l'agriculture, les relations interpersonnelles dans la communauté et l'avènement du COVID-19. Il devrait fournir des subventions pour le développement de la recherche et des politiques publiques qui peuvent garantir les droits fondamentaux des personnes âgées à vieillir comme elles le souhaitent et où elles le souhaitent.A pesquisa teve como objetivo compreender a intersecção entre gênero e faixa etária por meio da análise de narrativas de mulheres idosas. As participantes foram integrantes da Universidade Aberta da Terceira Idade (UATI), da Universidade Estadual do Centro Oeste. Os dados foram sistematizados por meio de anotações em diário de campo e foi realizada análise de conteúdo.
