This dissertation stems from a commission from a studio-house for a fashion designer. Thus, the objective of this work is the development and sharing of a project and its research path. The structure is composed of three parts - Opening, Inhabiting, Project - in a set of distinct approaches to the various problems raised by the project and the circumstance, culminating in the presentation of a proposal. In Opening, the aim is to clarify the circumstance and the initial doubts inherent to the act of designing. In Dwelling, a system is established - Individual, Place, Object -, which allows us to structure our thinking and to evidence the contamination between theoretical research and project practice. In addition to addressing issues of dwelling, individual and place, four work-authors are used to hypothesize strategies to project issues, similar to those that arise in our process. Finally, in Project, the proposal of the house-atelier is presented, using photographs of the place, drawings, photographs of the maquette, and texts related to the development of the project.
