Resumo: | This thesis is a reflection on the process of Making in Sculpture. Technique and Thought are presented as a unique and not separable action. In Sculpture, there is an intrinsic connection between Making and Thinking; as there is a connection between Hand and brain or vice-versa, which allows the Human to develop his potential and abilities. Human’s ability to work with his hands makes him an active inventor, Hands that touch and let themselves be touched, as a reciprocal element. For the Sculptor, the Hand is the thought’s tool and Sculpture requires Making, the technique and thought are the way used by the Sculptor to materialize his ideas |
