Resumo: The Bachelor’s Degree in Portuguese-Chinese/Chinese-Portuguese Translation and Interpretation, which results from a partnership between the Polytechnic of Leiria and the Polytechnic University of Macau, aims to train professionals with an adequate command of Portuguese and Mandarin. This paper focuses on the Curricular Internship, which takes place in the final semester of the programme. It intends, more precisely,to identify and characterise the internship organisations chosen by the students who enrol in the programme in Portugal, since the first edition of the internships in 2010 up until now. The study examines the geographical location of these organisations, their area of activity, the number of students hosted and the number of collaborations with the TIPC programme.
