Gestures are ways of expression, impetus for communication and the transmission of subjectivity. From gestures, we communicate, we establish connections with others and consolidate thoughts. From communication we build our affirmation in the silence of the world. The project of this dissertation is composed of this same desire for expression, in a movement of communication, either with others or with the context that shapes it and that he transform. From the projectual gesture, we attempted the dialogue between Man and Space, between architecture and life. The project, a housing complex, is developed in a rural area undergoing an urbanization process, characteristic of the transformation process of the rural peripheries of large urban centers (which has intensified since the last century). However, design for areas outside the consolidated city, particularly in dispersed areas, implies different forms of action, attentive to the lessons of the context, but included in the movement of transformation and ordering. It was on the deepening of the meaning of 'transformation', and in its materialization, that the projectual gesture was intensified: in a project that does not seek to be an end, but an integral part of the development process - part of a continuity. In the Depth of the Gesture, is studied the deepness that composes the project: the density of matter and thought that guided and propelled the projectual action. The process is characterized by valuing the moments of search and absorption, aware that the consistency of the answers is consolidated by the lucidity of the questions and the perseverance of the process.
