Resumo: Abstract In the inner courtyard of Belvoir Castle, the excavation uncovered structures that predate the monumental building. It is a stone house with two rooms fitted with benches and a paved floor. This primitive building can be compared to the remains of the rural settlement sold by the Frank Ives Velos to the Hospitallers in 1168.
