Resumo: | This article focuses on the Festival de Cans, a picturesque film event that takes place in Cans, a rural hamlet in the heart of the West Galician province of Pontevedra. Through an ethnographic approach, this research seeks to understand how Cans’ peculiar rituals and the organization’s rhetoric uses parody as an aesthetic vehicle that allows us to reinterpret dominant meanings, allowing the conversion of the Galician rural landscape, its community, and settings into a location of cultural importance. Thus, it is interesting to observe how the festival articulates an exceptional setting where barns, workshops, basements, cellars and stables serve temporarily as film venues, altering the high-ranked film festivals cinephilic standards, excess and etiquette. Via the hybridization of classic film festival traditions with rural celebratory traditions Cans has consolidated its position both in the Spanish film festival circuit and the Galician film industry, becoming a must-attend event among Galician media professionals and personalities. |

Este artículo se centra en el Festival de Cine de Cans, un pintoresco evento que se celebra en una aldea con el mismo nombre, en la provincia de Pontevedra(Galicia). A través de un acercamiento etnográfico, esta investigación busca comprender de qué manera los rituales y la retórica de la organización utilizan la parodia como un vehículo estético que permite reinterpretar los significados y estructuras dominantes, para dar lugar a la conversión del paisaje rural de Galicia, su comunidad y sus localizaciones en un lugar de importancia cultural. Así, es interesante observar cómo el festival articula un escenario particular donde hórreos, talleres, bajos y establos sirven temporalmente como salas de proyección, alterando los altos estándares, el exceso y la etiqueta de los festivales de cine de más alto rango. A través de la hibridación del concepto de festival de cine con una celebración tradicional del ámbito rural, Cans haconsolidado su posición en el circuito de festivales de cine españoles y la industria audiovisual gallega, convirtiéndose en un festival de visita obligada entre las personalidades y profesionales del audiovisual de Galicia.Cet article se concentre sur le Festival de Cans, un événement cinématographique pittoresque qui a lieu à Cans, un hameau rural au cœur de la province de Pontevedra en Galice occidentale. qui a lieu à Cans, un hameau rural situé au cœur de la province de Pontevedra, en Galice occidentale. Par le biais d'une approche ethnographique, cette recherche cherche à comprendre comment les rituels particuliers de Cans et la rhétorique de l'organisation sont utilisés.Cans et la rhétorique de l'organisation utilisent la parodie comme un véhicule esthétique qui nous permet de réinterpréter les significations dominantes.de réinterpréter les significations dominantes, permettant la conversion du paysage rural galicien, de sa Galice, de sa communauté et de son environnement en un lieu d'importance culturelle. Ainsi, il est intéressant d'observer comment le festival articule un cadre exceptionnel où se trouvent des granges, ateliers, sous-sols, caves et écuries servent temporairement de lieux de tournage, modifiant ainsi le paysage rural galicien, les normes, les excès et l'étiquette cinéphiliques des festivals de films de haut niveau. Grâce à l'hybridation des traditions classiques des festivals de cinéma et des traditions festives rurales, [...].Este artigo centra-se no Festival de Cans, um evento cinematográfico pitoresco que leva lugar em Cans, um lugarejo rural no coração da província galega ocidental de Pontevedra. Através de uma abordagem etnográfica, esta investigação procura compreender como a peculiaridade de Cans rituais e a retórica da organização usa a paródia como um veículo estético que nos permite para reinterpretar significados dominantes, permitindo a conversão do rural galego paisagem, a sua comunidade, e cenários para um local de importância cultural. Assim, é interessante observar como o festival articula um cenário excepcional onde os celeiros se encontram, oficinas, porões, caves e estábulos servem temporariamente como locais de filmagem, alterando os padrões cinefílicos, excesso e etiqueta dos festivais de cinema de alto nível. Através da hibridização de tradições clássicas de festivais de cinema com tradições de celebração rural Cans consolidou a sua posição tanto no circuito de festivais de cinema espanhol como na indústria cinematográfica galega, tornando-se um evento obrigatório entre os profissionais e personalidades da comunicação social galega.
